BACK TO BASICS

Don't you just miss those days where you could just put on loose fitting clothes and get a move on?
Those were the days where people cared more on how they present themselves rather than just their visual out look or even whether what they wore is in trend or not.

For this blog post I thought I come up with such a look and still maintain the concept while giving you a few key points on how to leave a great impression because, fashion aside, how you present your personality to the world is what matters more.
Get your manners right, always give way to anyone older than you, stand if the bus or the waiting area is out of seats and offer it to either a lady, an older person or an expectant mother, anyone with a disability goes without say.

Always show gratitude and be patient with other people even if their slow rate of understanding what you're saying is getting to your last nerve, hold back the beast within hehe.
Always open the door for the lady, even if she is a stranger. Don't be afraid to complement, this is a confidence booster.
Be a good listener, also be there, not only physically but also emotionally it shows that you understand the other person's situation and that you're there for them.

For this look I paired a loose fitting shirt with a soft collar, note that a shirt with a mandarin collar would also have worked well, a pair of washed out chino pants and a pair of  fringed tassel loafers. A pair of ray-ban shades and a homburg hat, which plays it's role as a statement hat as well as a functional one.

As we plan to dress down during this time of enduring the scotching heat, lets remember the words of Coco Chanel "... Simplicity is the key note of all true elegance..."
Until next time, cheers and God bless.
